Fair?
August 5, 2007I ate dinner at a restaurant in my area last night. My family and I were eating at this chinese restaurant we’ve been to a couple of times. Just after finishing our last meal, this family walks in. Five people, I counted.
First the father, a typical chinese man in his late 50s. Then the mother, which reminded me of my mother, with spectacles and very motherly like. Then followed by another woman, probably the wife’s friend or so. Then came the children. The sister who was surprisingly tall and with big round spectacles made her way into the restaurant. Right behind her was her brother who turned out to be a down syndrome kid who was around my age. ( seventeen )
I tried to avoid eye contact at all cost because I knew how uncomfortable it could be for them and how it really is inconsiderate of me to do it. So I just continued and finished off my chrysanthemum tea. I then started thinking about the kid and started to observe him. I found out that his family (parents) were really nice people and were normal people like you and I. The kid didn’t talk much though. But unfortunately, he was the only one using a spoon and a fork and not chopsticks like the rest of his family. I really felt glad his family had accepted him for who he is.
BUT what about the other people in this world? have they accepted him? Will they accept him? Some might but some won’t. And again I realized how unfair life can be. I knew I had had been taken things for granted. Like how I always complain to my parents or anyone how unfair my life is when it actually isn’t. When all I needed, I already had. It’s really sad that we (human beings) only really appreciate what we’ve got and miss something when it’s really gone. You might not agree, but I know it’s true.

Maybe we’re lying. Maybe it’s a lie.
July 1, 2007I have all sorts of friends. I meet them is so many different kinds of ways.
If you didn’t know I play an online game called Counter-Strike. It’s a shooting game and can be really violent. I’ve been playing it quiet often for the past week. I’m not addicted or anything though
So I met someone in a game who calls himself ” telan ” in games.
I added him to my MSN so we could play together more frequently and well, make friends.
I got to find out that he’s a 21 year old male who lives in Singapore and is married.
Well that’s not completely true.
WHY?
because the number #1 rule about the internet is TRUST NO ONE!!
I however believe he is telling the truth because he seems like he is a really nice guy and I actually had a conversation with him this morning. I was thinking since he was married, I would ask him a question about love.
I’m ‘joe’ and he is ‘Tlearvaynnciea’
| joe: | do you believe |
|---|
| joe: | in true love? |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | nah |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | lol |
|---|
| joe: | then why are you married |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | i believe its love followed by responsibility |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | =) |
|---|
| joe: | so it’s possible to marry and continue living with someone who is claimed to be your wife eventhough you dont love her? |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | yea due to responsibility |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | promises |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | u will |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | its fact trust |
|---|
|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | if let say true love exist |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | why does many people divorce? |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | some stick to bgr instead |
|---|
| Tlearvaynnciea.: | there’s a big difference in marriage and bgr. |
|---|
I kinda summarized it and that’s how it looks like. SO anyway, my point is that the things that he said was strong. He’s saying what he feels as if it was fact, which it isn’t. But that doesn’t mean true love exist. I mean, what do I know huh?
Maybe true love was created by the human mind.
Maybe it’s just because some people rather be positive and live a joyful life and believe in such things(love/true love) . OR maybe some people rather dwell and be a sadistic and force themself to not believe such things.
Has it been felt by the human heart, this feeling? Have you felt it?
Or do you think it’s a lie and you have experiences to prove it..
That feeling you’re feeling right now. It’s overrated
June 28, 2007I’ve decided that I am too lazy to ever upload pictures on this blog ever again. So yeah..
Anyway Open Day or also known as Report Card day is just few hours away and I’m writting this at 1.37 AM
I guess I’d just like to enjoy the few hours I have left using the PC which i might not be able to use later ;p
My father is going later and I’m pretty much dead. There is a thousand reasons why I’m so dead and i’m going to feel shitty all over again. But fuck that. I want to write about something happy for once.
After 11 years of being in school I’d have to say that the worst day by far is Open Day.
Anyone who is lazy and has strict parents would agree with me and you know it!
Your heart pumps harder and faster as your parent approaches the end of the line and soon will be his turn to have the “discussion” with your class teacher. Ahhhh your class teacher… Mine’s a Middle -aged Malay man. I think he has something against me
My father usually needs a day or two to cooldown from Open Day. I remember last year when he got all angry and he gave me his typical lecture which I’ve heard at least 20 times ( this year )
So if you’re reading this and you’re going through what I’m going, just think happy thoughts. Just like everything else, move on. Learn from your mistakes and make better decisions in the future. Though i know i’m going to suffer soon it doesn’t really matter.
WHY?
Simply because I’m going to take it like a man. Those nights playing computer games till the wee hours and sleeping in class has paid off in it’s on way.
Open Day oh open day, one of the oh-so memorable things i’ll remember from my schooling experience
P.S my titles have nothing to do with my posts.
Since when was being close ever enough?
June 27, 2007Though I don’t write much here anymore, there’s something about writing which lights me up. Making people laugh and smile has always been my thing.
So how many Wai Hong(s) does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer : 10 Wai Hongs.

June 8, 2007So a few days ago, I was in the komuter which is something like a train and a LRT but for poor’er people lol. I was with kaifu and we were heading home from MidValley. It was a long day and then we just started random conversations in the komuter.
So we decided to talk about people, nice and bad.
He asked me who I thought was the nicest person I ever met. I kinda took awhile to answer but somehow I did. And I asked him back the same question and he answered too.
Then suddenly he looked at me like one kind. Something I don’t see kaifu do very often because he’s usually such a sohai/idiot. I saw his face turn serious but vulnerable at the same.
He said ” Actually everybody is a good person la “
I then starred out into the dark sky and just wondered and realised how true he was so true.
Everyone is a nice person. Not everyone might agree but if you look hard enough, you know i’m right

Boxers
May 6, 2007So anyway i was wearing boxers to school the other day.
and i was reminded that boxers can be so uncomfortable… especially in pants.
Not paying much attention to the Math’s teacher, i suddenly had my own thoughts.
Since underwear is so freakin comfortable, why not create a pair of boxers with comfortable material. you know like boxers with underwear cloth.
AND I WAS LIKE !OMGOSH! I HAVEA TOTALLY COOL IDEA ! EUPHORIA?!!
AND I WENT BACK HOME AND THEN MUCH LATER, HAD A CALL WITH YUSZEN.
EXPLAINED MY STORY. YADAYADAYADA.
FUCKEN SHIT. SCREW YOU BOXER BRIEFS. AND I WAS HEARTBROKEN</3
