Bribery Or Just Plain Appreciation?

Well, someone in the goverment has recently wrote a letter saying that they should ban students from giving presents to the teachers for Teachers Day..

I think for a fact that the fella has been ill-treated by his teachers before, either that or his teachers hated him. Eventhough i dislike some of my teachers but i still apperciate the fact that they took the time to scold me, to lecture me and that made me who i am today. I thank them for that, i mean don’t you guys like it sometimes when the teacher scolds u? Its actually pretty funny at times because the words they use and the actions they do when they get angry is really really hilarious. So, why does it bother the Menteri that students are giving gifts to teachers? Does it mean that if the student gives something, the teacher has to like the person? Well, so what if the teachers in school give u superb high marks? Does it really matter…because the teachers who mark the papers for SPM don’t even know the person behind the pen…Does it mean they’ll ban children from giving presents or gifts for Happy Mothers Day and Happy Fathers Day?Even worse…people’s birthday…I mean everyone wants to feel appreciated it depends on how you look at it. Some people prefer to buy the gift, some prefer to make them, in the end its all the same. Whether it came from the heart or not, its between the student and god…It isnt all that easy for a teacher if you come to think of it. They have to read all your essays and karangan, if its only for 1 single kid then its okay but you mark for about 100 kids…Imagine the crap they must be reading, people who know the language, people who dont know the language, people who just write for the sake of it…last but not least, the teachers favourite must go to the empty papers..I mean if im a teacher i would like to have students like that, they’re not only helping you in marking but also giving u an easier life. Why do they even build the Tugu Negara? Is it because they wanna bribe them? They sacrificed for the nation and now they want people to join the army so they build Tugu Negara all. See how everything relates. Life revolves around maths?

wow, now that really doesn’t make sense. why would anyone want to ban students from showing appreciation to teachers?

must be all that corruption getting to the government’s heads – they’re starting to get paranoid that gifts and etc are all objects of bribery when given to an authority figure
